History of Definepedia
I wanted to share the story of Definepedia.in with you. This website is a testament to his determination and hard work as its founder. Despite facing challenges like limited capital, Definepedia has continued to grow and thrive.
When he first launched the website in 13/5/2022, before that he just work on 6 other websites that were failures for me but those give me some ideas related to the website environment.
So in 2022, it was just a personal hobby of mine. He wanted to create a college event website that would inform my classmates about the latest happenings. But due to some copyright issues, he had to drop that idea. This setback only inspired me to work harder and dedicate more time to their blog, which even helped me improve his grades.
He then tried to create a website that only had definitions from various fields like management and science, but it wasn’t very successful because the content was small and I wasn’t very involved in it. So, he decided to move on from that project.
One thing more he want to tell you that “he was an introvert”, so he don’t really enjoy talking to new people and he was feeling a bit bored with everything. But then, he decided to turn my website into my profession.
On May 15, 2022, he deleted the old posts and started fresh. He posted the first definition of Mary Parker Follett (1941) and bought the domain “definition.ga”. But then a friend told him that if he want success, he should buy a premium domain like .com, .in, .net, or .info. So he bought a cheap domain and changed the name to “Freedefinition.site”.
But even then, the website wasn’t ranking well because he didn’t do enough keyword research. So he had to change the name again. On October 23, 2022, he bought the domain “definpedia.in” and hosted it on the Google Blogspot platform. He was able to get an absence in just 200 approved definitions in no time, but he soon realized that the posts were too short.
After analyzing other websites, he learned that the owners wrote detailed posts on the topics they covered. So he started updating the old posts to make them longer and add more information. And as of today, He is still active on the website with the team members.
In the future, he planed to expand the website’s content to provide even more quality educational resources.
